From demonstrations and skilled research to building handcrafted historically accurate villages that represent your time period, you are what drives thousands of visitors to our festival each year.
Huzzah to our volunteers- over 300 volunteers join us every year to don the blue and red tabards to bring an authentic and unique experience to our visitors, your contribution from learning the medieval lingo and keeping all areas of the festival running smoothly is why our visitors leave feeling a sense of inclusion and wonder.
Finally, to YOU, our loyal followers, visitors and supporters who make the pilgrimage to Abbeystowe.
Without your feedback and continued support, we couldn’t be where we are today.
This year is huge, with two gold awards at QLD and now National level, and celebration of 35 years of the Abbey Medieval Festival, it’s been a long journey to get us to this point and we are eternally thankful to everyone who has been a part of our story since 1989.
