Here's one of the things we have been up to lately - Completing this 617kW Solar Car Park Shade structure with our sister company Solar Car Parks at this Astra Zenica site in Macquarie Park, in Sydney's North West.

As with all retro-fit loaded structures installing on to existing floating post tension slabs, as part of Multi Level Car parks, thorough site investigations and experienced understanding, fit for purpose preliminary designing and precise Engineering ability, is 70% of the structures eventual success. We very rarely get given much of the information we need, so as a D&C provider, it is usually up to us to decipher the needs and wants of each individual site. and Every site - hence every structure - is different..

Then of course, our extremely skilled and experienced industry leading fabrication and installation/rigging teams here at PV Structures and our supporting partners, make the magic happen from there..

We are particular proud, of this particularly challenging, yet very successful and rewarding project for all involved..

We have been a tad to busy of late, to post any updates of substance, with all hands on deck over the past few months, tying off our projects for the years end.. And what a great year it has been for both Shade and Membrane Structures Australia (SMSA) and PV Structures (PVS - with our Solar Car Parks)

As both our internal teams and external supply chains have been busy working non stop for months on end, they have all deserved this well earned rest over the Xmas/New Year’s Break – to freshen up and re-vitalise, with the books already full of installations of new Design and Construct projects until at least mid year (and more exciting projects signing up in Jan/Feb)..

The images below are a collection of both SMSA and PVS projects completed recently as were in a rush to finish off the year and include (but not limited to):
• A Bowling Green all weather cover for an Aged Care Facility in the Hunter Valley (NSW)
• 9 x Car Park Shade Structure Projects for our great clients at Woolworths – including sites at Ararat (Vic), Benalla (Vic), Swan Hill (Vic,) Bellmere (Qld), Canningvale (WA), Marayong (NSW), Rochedale (Qld), Midlands (WA), Browns Plains (Qld) Kings Meadows (Tas)
• Large Sports Court Cover (still on-going) in South Australia
• 500kW Solar Car Park Project in Eastern Creek (NSW)
• 150kW Solar Car Project in Dalby (Qld)
• 708kW Solar Car Park Project in Brisbane (Qld) (still on-going)

Progress report on our latest bowling green cover project, installing in Medowie, in the NSW's Hunter Valley..

Structure is pretty much all done, with the landscaping and actual green to be installed over the next week or 2... This has been a fantastic project to be involved in, right from the initial idea, to our design and engineering process, through to the installation..

A big thanks once again to our sensational supply chain, From the engineers Larry Shyu, to the steel fabricators Martin Tooth, Fabric Fabricators Shadecom Pty Ltd the Ferrari 902 fabric suppliers Rainbow Shade and Serge Ferrari Greg Goldblatt to of course our sister company for the install assistance PV Structures..

We love it when a plan starts coming together.. The structural component of this 486kW project in Sydney's Eastern Creek, across 13 different structures, is just finishing off. Now the Solar team from AGL Solar are flying ahead installing the JA Solar panels at a rapid..

We are very proud to have spent the past couple of years designing this one, keeping the interest alive through COVID, to finally now seeing the fruits of our efforts with the installation of our premium frame, by our in house team..

And that's a wrap for 2022..

A record year for both Shade and Membrane Structures Australia and PV Structures , with plenty of successful projects completed, in both Shade and Solar and a bunch load still to be finished by June (making next year look great already).. Which is a fantastic position to be in, considering the past 2years of COVID and also the poor upcoming International financial outlook..

We couldn't do it at all, without our great Clients, Suppliers and in-house team of awesomeness.. An absolute huge Thank You to all involved..

Another successful Car Park Shade Structure project completed for our fantastic clients at Fabcot/Woolworths and their awesome Project management team at Project Strategies Australia . This one is at Casula in Sydney's West and is one of 9 Woolworths sites we are currently working on at the moment.

A big congrats to our clients, our supply teams, our sister company PV Structures who complete all of the hard yards on our sites..

It seems that time and time again, good things come to those who wait. We are excited to finally begin this project - It was originally designed and priced 3years ago, then engineered 18months ago, put on hold 14months ago, came back to life 6months ago - A solar partner was awarded and then a revised slightly smaller layout was proposed 2months ago and then re-Engineered 2weeks ago, and now just about to go into fabrication..

We look forward to completing another successful Solar Car Park for this large international client, at their Western Sydney Distribution Center - When completed this will house a 485.3kW system - Using JA Solar 460W panels and Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. inverters. All solar and electrical works to be completed by AGL .

Nothing flashy or too exciting, however the client went with the classy looking Verseidag TXA 650 in black, for this cyclone rated Agricultural Equipment storage yard - They liked them so much, they have just put in an order for more..
