Gardenia taitensis - The National Flower of French Polynesia. ( Tahitian gardenia)

Just like the Islands. It’s pretty and has a beautiful scent.
The image of this tree in particular was taken in Kailua-Kona Hawaii, by myself a few weeks ago.
It caught my eye instantly, as at first It looked like our native Gardenia- Atractocarpus fitzalanii (Syn Randia fitzalanii), except for the strong scented petite petalled flowers.

It grows as a dense small tree. Roughly 5-8 m tall. Stays compact and very easy to maintain.
