Yvonne had an already existing chicken shed that was on a lower level to her house level. She had wanted to utilise the space on top of the shed. We custom designed and built a deck that fitted on top of the shed, with a built-in bench. Yvonne happened to be a beautiful leadlighter and we were able to incorporate her old windows into feature pieces on the deck. The shade sail finishes the space off, providing relief from the heat in the middle of the day.

After removing the tiles for a customer, we discovered that an old fireplace had been removed from the kitchen area and instead of putting down floorboards, the previous owners had put down ply / MDF board as a cheap alternative. I was able to fit beautiful cypress pine boards in ready for sanding and polishing.

Lib hated these tiles from the moment they moved in. Hard to keep clean, uneven and unsightly. Other tradies had said there was just ply underneath, so the main option would be a floating floor over the top. I went under the house to check it out, and there were good boards there! So we began taking them up and check out the beautiful cypress pine! Ready for sand and polish.
