Happy 2-year work anniversary to our absolute weapon of a roofing plumber, Jayden! 🥳

Over the last two years, Jayden has proven himself to be an asset to the team, delivering top-tier roofing solutions and keeping our clients watertight and dry. 🌧️🏠

But roofing isn't his only specialty. Jayden has also unofficially become our on-site Wildlife Wrangler! 🐍🦅 Whether it’s safely relocating a snake from a downpipe or rescuing a pigeon trapped in a box gutter, Jayden handles it all without breaking a sweat.

Thanks for the laughs, the hard work and for keeping the rest of the boys safe from the local wildlife, mate! Cheers to 2 great years and many more to come. 🍻💪

Big shoutout to Joe Geary, who is celebrating his 1st work anniversary with us! 🥳👏

If you’ve had Joe out on your roof over the past year, you’ll know exactly why we value him so much. He is incredibly reliable, efficient and brings a calm, "can-do" attitude to every single job.

Joe always puts our customers first, working with what you have to find practical solutions rather than just pushing for expensive replacements. He’s a fantastic mentor to our apprentices and has even stepped up into doing his own quoting and estimating lately.

Fun fact: Joe’s sharp eye for detail also saved the business a chunk of money this year by changing up how we manage our site equipment! 🧠💪

Thanks for an amazing year, Joe. Our roofing team wouldn't be the same without you!

Today we are celebrating Jane’s 5th Anniversary with the team! 🥳

Let’s be honest.... being our Scheduler is a massive, high-stakes puzzle with a million moving parts. It’s a job that involves a lot of plate-spinning, some serious fire-fighting, and probably more than a few "how is this going to work?!" moments. 🧩🔥

Through all the chaos, Jane keeps us moving. To show our massive appreciation for her 5 years of grit and dedication, we’ve surprised her with a $2,000 travel voucher! 🏝️🏨

Hunter joined the crew back in 2022 as a fresh apprentice, and today he officially finishes that chapter. It’s been an absolute privilege watching him grow, not just in his skills on the tools, but watching him mature. 🛠️✨

Safety is more than a checklist; it’s a culture. 🛠️✨

Today is World Day for Safety and Health at Work and this year we are highlighting the importance of a healthy "psychosocial" environment. In plain English? It means making sure our team feels supported, recognised and clear on their roles so they can head home happy every day.

We truly believe our team is our family. We saw that in action at our last Toolbox talk:

- We presented Sam some Coles vouchers to help him stay healthy while he recovers from hand surgery. 🥊🩹It's going to be a while before he gets back in the ring.

- We celebrated Harry, who took home this month's $100 'Love Your Work' prize for his incredible service and 5-star feedback from happy customers! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Managing stress and providing support is just as important as managing a building site. Proud of this crew for looking out for one another.

Our Director, Mitch, spent some time recently at Hunter Trade College chatting with the students and sharing his insights into the plumbing industry. 🏫🙌

At Laser, we know that the future of the trade depends on the talent coming through the ranks right now. Mitch loved hearing about the students' goals and sharing some real-world advice on what it takes to build a successful career on the tools.

Today marks 2 years since Chris joined the Laser Plumbing team and what a two years it has been.

Chris has recently taken the lead as Site Manager on a major project, ensuring everything runs safely, smoothly and to the highest quality. Managing a site of this scale is no small task, but Chris’s experience and "get it done" attitude make him the perfect man for the job. 💪🏗️

Minimising Downtime, Maximising Control. 🛠️

We recently tackled a critical infrastructure upgrade for a long term client. The mission: Install a 100mm isolation valve to allow for seamless future maintenance on a high-stakes asset.

Before: A system that couldn't be isolated, meaning any future repairs would require a full site shutdown.

During: Precision cutting and fitment. Working with 100mm pipework requires zero margin for error.

After: Total control. The client can now perform planned maintenance without interrupting their entire operation.

Big valves, big responsibility. Just another day for the Laser Plumbing Newcastle team.
