FIFO life takes us to some pretty epic and remote places—and Groote Eylandt is no exception. 🏗️🌏

One of the quirks of working remote? When a feed and a beer at the local can set you back $70.

But when you’re in a place where every single thing—from steel and scaffolding to pints and parmi’s—has to be shipped in, you get it. Out here, nothing comes easy, and everything’s hard-earned.

So when it’s comes time to pay, you don’t whinge—you savour every damn bite and sip. 🍔🍻

Because whether it’s the knock-off beers or the structures we build, we know the effort it takes to make things happen in places like this.
