Day 2 – Aiko Solar Factory Tour 🇨🇳
Today we had the privilege of visiting the global headquarters and manufacturing facility of AIKO Solar here in China.
Seeing the scale of production and the level of engineering that goes into these panels is truly impressive. From automated manufacturing lines to detailed performance testing, it’s clear that innovation is driving the next generation of solar technology.
One of the highlights was watching a partial shading optimisation demonstration, showing how AIKO’s ABC (All Back Contact) modules continue producing power even when sections of the panel are shaded. This is a big advantage for real-world installations where shading from trees, chimneys or roof structures can impact system performance.
For us at Riverside Solar & Electrical, it’s important to understand the technology behind the products we install. Visiting manufacturers like AIKO allows us to see first-hand the quality, testing and engineering that goes into modern solar modules.
It’s exciting to see where solar technology is heading, and we’re looking forward to bringing these innovations back home to Australia.
