Recent service we carried out for a customer that has never gotten there AC units serviced. As you can see it definitely needed to be done.
We gave them a quick rinse to show you how much of a difference even that makes before giving them a proper clean.

Ducted aircon service done recently. The client mentioned the unit struggled a little and has a bad smell to it well they were not making things up. We suggested a full coil and drain clean and that's exactly what was needed.

There was a dust build up on the indoor coil with mould on the inside of the unit and then the mould and mud on the outdoor unit combined with a mini rainforest growing on the coil. I cleared a bit before we got a photo.
The nearly 3 years of on off rain has really troubled this unit with mould.

It was a decent effort but the job got done just in time for the heat. We love seeing results like this and making sure our customers have more money in there pocket next electricity bill is our goal!!

Quick call out today to fix an aircon unit that would trip out after 5 to 10 mins of working. After a diagnostics test we found the circuit breaker to be faulty with internal issues.
A quick change over to a more trust worthy brand and a test a no more issues ready for a hot summer!!

Bula!!! Recently we have had a shut down but it was for a good cause. Our first international family holiday after Covid! We had a family members wedding which we are so grateful for as it helped us unwind and explore new places. Fiji was amazing and the people of Fiji were next level with there love of kids.

We are back in Australia now and back full steam ahead with Christmas in our sights.

Bit of Electrical and Airconditioning work today.

We installed some new bedside pendant lights aswell as a downlight in the walk in robe followed by a good clean up on the split system aircons and boy did they need them after the last few years of what seemed to be non stop rain there was some dust and mould build up on these ones but now this family has nothing to worry about.

Full system change over as the old one was on its last legs, so the clients wanted to get in before summer hits. The energy efficiency of all Actron Air units these days heavily out weighs any old unit that you would be silly not to jump ship!

Quick call out to see why the master bedroom wasn't getting as cold as the rest of the house turned into a simple but also not so simple fix of adding an outlet in the room.
This isn't just put a fitting in and put an outlet on the end of the duct, we have to direct more air from other parts of the house preferably from the bedrooms. With a few duct and fitting upgrades the results were instant and a quick air balance check confirmed that.

Alot of people don't think about it when building a house but the master bedroom is always a tricky room for Airconditioning as all general budget builders do 1 outlet per room not actually measuring the size of the room and then considering WIR and an ensuite which are more commonly now not getting doors and are creating essentially one big room.

Then to finish it off we installed a new weatherproof powerpoint in black to blend in with the dark bricks, I guess a bonus of hiring a company that offers 2 trades!!

Last week started with a service call to a local home to get a long overdue service done.
A lot of poor workmanship was found and lucky enough they weren't critical enough to cause damage to the unit or the house. From Return Air Grills hanging down off the roof and allowing dust from in the roof to get drawn in, to drains being duct taped to the timber frame and not saddled, poor quality fittings being used and leaking air-conditioned air into the roof.
Although with a bit of extra time and care all these things are fixable. Lucky enough when we do a service we check everything not just clean the filters and check airflow.

Nice easy High Wall Split System we did this week for MyChoice Psychology !!
Indoor and outdoor units both drain to a drain not just on the floor! You don't see that very much these days. Neat and quality is always our goal no matter what it takes!

Yesterday was a new venture for us we got to install some downlights controlled by "Alexa" which was a first for us and interesting to see just how far technology is going. We also whipped in some downlights to light the garage up and put in a lovely long pendant for the island bench. Plenty of praises and a quick clean up and we were off with another satisfied customer!!
