We are proud to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Joe Boutros, Site Supervisor, whose technical knowledge, positive energy, and genuine care for the people around him have made a lasting impact across the business.

Since joining Taylor in May 2016, Joe has delivered across a broad portfolio spanning education, hospitality, heritage, and mixed-use projects.

Colleagues describe Joe as a constant, smiling presence who lifts the mood on site and in the office, someone who can find a completely unique solution to a complex challenge and make everyone laugh in the process. He is equally valued for the way he invests in the people around him, always taking the time to bring junior staff along and make them feel genuinely included.

Ten years ago, Krishnil Gounder joined Taylor as a Contract Administrator. Today, he leads some of our most complex projects as Contract Manager, and the journey between those two points reflects exactly the kind of person he is.

Progressing from CA to Senior CA to Contract Manager, Krish has built his reputation across a broad and demanding portfolio spanning aged care, health, data centres, and education. With a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and Architecture from UNSW, he brings strong commercial capability to every project and is consistently recognised for his ability to manage multiple contractors.

Colleagues describe him as someone who integrates seamlessly with his team, leads by example, and always looks to resolve issues as they arise. What sets Krish apart, however, is the way he brings people with him. No matter how busy, he always has time for his team, drives positive team spirit throughout any project, and consistently invests in the development of those around him. The golf swing, we are told, is also half decent.

Celebrating another Topping Out at The Switch 🎉

The Taylor project team recently came together with Nuveen, COR Partners, Bureau Veritas, Rothelowman, SCP, and our engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to celebrate the project’s topping out, marking the highest structural point of the building.

Guests gathered on the rooftop with acknowledgements shared by Taylor’s Damian Fisher and Peter Yamin, who expressed their thanks and spoke to the significance of the topping out tree as a symbol of good luck for future occupants.

Nuveen’s Anthony Lombardo also shared his thanks to the wider team, recognising the collaboration and resilience shown throughout delivery.

The milestone concluded with a site walk to view the prototype rooms, showcasing the next stage of the project.

It was great to kick off our Emerging Talent Program with a fun and relaxed catch‑up at The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park.

Bringing together our Cadets, Graduates, and Apprentices, the afternoon of Go-Karting and Ten‑Pin Bowling set the scene for connection, teamwork, and plenty of friendly competition! 🏁🎳

We look forward to supporting our emerging talent throughout the year as the program progresses.
