National Reconciliation Week reminds us of the importance of relationships, respect and walking forward together. 🖤💛❤️

This year Reta, one of our team, contributed to the Reconciliation Mosaic Project at the Barossa Bushgardens, alongside local children and community members. Her artwork featured two intertwining trees, symbolising people standing together, supporting one another and moving forward with respect.

At My Ability Pathway, we recognise reconciliation as an ongoing journey of listening, learning and connection. 🌿🤝

We're so excited that the new Specialist Disability Accommodation homes in Tanunda are almost ready! ✨️

These homes represent something truly special for the Barossa - the opportunity for people to live with greater independence while staying connected to the families, friendships and community they know and love.

For many, this means being able to remain local rather than moving away from their support networks. It means families can stay close, everyday moments can continue, and people can build their future in the place they call home. 🏡

A heartfelt thank you to Metcalf Inclusive Living, the SDA providers, for helping bring this important vision to life.

📅 Accessible Events | June 2026

June is here, bringing cooler weather and plenty of opportunities to get out and connect with your community ❄️

We’ve pulled together a selection of accessible events happening locally throughout June 2026. While these events aren’t hosted by My Ability Pathway, they’ve been promoted as accessible and may offer welcoming spaces for connection, inclusion and enjoyment.

With the June long weekend just around the corner, there are also plenty of additional community events and activities happening that we haven’t captured here - so it’s worth checking out what’s on in your local area for a fun and accessible way to make the most of the extra day 🌟

As always, we recommend checking directly with event organisers to ensure accessibility features meet your individual needs.

Know of another accessible event coming up? Let us know - we’d love to share it with our community 🧡

Today we recognise Global Accessibility Awareness Day - a day that encourages all of us to think, learn and talk about digital access and inclusion.

For more than one billion people worldwide living with disability, accessibility can shape whether digital spaces are empowering or excluding.

Accessibility means designing websites, communication, technology and services so everyone can access information and participate equally.

At My Ability Pathway, we know inclusion doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when accessibility is built in from the beginning.

Today, we encourage everyone to reflect on the spaces they create - online and offline - and ask:
Are they truly accessible for everyone?
