We are pleased to announce the completion of one of our most recent projects, a brand-new Dandenong facility! We were successful in designing, supplying, and installing a top-notch Kattsafe HVAC plant platform by closely collaborating with our respected client. With its strong 5 kpa rating and precision engineering, the platform guarantees the most effective installation and upkeep of the air conditioning systems.

Not only that, but we've also included a state-of-the-art Kattsafe rung ladder and walkway system, which allows for easy and secure access to additional roof regions.

Case Study - Improved Height Safety for a School in Cranbourne

The school had an existing area without access equipment that they could not maintain and asked us to evaluate and assist in determining the required height safety equipment. Ladder brackets, first up strops, anchor points, walkway and steps were installed to allow personnel to safely perform maintenance works.

The main selection criteria for this equipment included frequency of access, type of work being conducted, qualifications of personnel conducting works and site conditions. The works were completed with minimal disruptions to the school – all our on-site staff have current working with children’s checks, and we are registered with sam4schools.

After completion of the installation, we were asked to perform a recertification and audit of their existing height safety systems. Once the recertification/audit was complete we provided documentation clearly identifying the equipment that passed and the equipment that did not pass along with a quotation to rectify the systems.

The school opted to rectify the systems, so we returned to site and repaired/added to the systems to achieve safe and compliant height safety systems.

This site has now been added to our system to be recertified on a regular basis and we will send out a reminder in advance of the next due date.

Introducing one of our latest projects in Wellington Parade, East Melbourne.

The Problem?

Our client had an existing access ladder that was non-compliant with AS 1657, created a fall risk and was not designed to suit the surrounding equipment.

Our Solution

To install a Kombi platform and an Alto step ladder.
The Kombi platform was chosen as it allows personnel to safely operate the access door on a level surface and the door can be held open (against the platform) reducing the risk of accidentally being locked out.
The Alto step ladder was chosen due to the required access i.e. the frequency of access to the space, tools required etc.

The Outcome

A more secure and efficient workspace that fully complies with all regulatory standards.
