I’ve been so busy working away, I’ve neglected my website and business’ social media accounts.

This months focus is getting the website back up and running, having a social media presence and engaging in local marketing strategies to secure some of the local civil construction industry.

The last two years have been filled with ups and downs. It’s been an emotional and financial roller coaster.

One of the biggest projects we’ve been included on this year. HUGE multimillion dollar civil construction project. Shoutout to DSA CONTRACTING (Yuri + Andrew)

Yuri perfected my 180 jump turns and boom walks in a 5T excavator, and taught me how to “trim” with a mud bucket faster than a 4T positrack with a spreader bar.

I’ve been subcontracted to offer 5tonne excavator operator, vibrating roller operator and general labourers.

NSW Parkes and Wildlife have contracted civil engineers to reshape the top of Mount Canobolas into a tourist and family friendly picnic/lookout destination.

I’ve been excavating for gutters, pits, laybacks and walls, doing erosion control, trimming 400tonne of roadbase out for paving with an excavator at specific heights per GPS rover, lifting ops cement lintels and drain away grates.

We also assisted BKT concreting pouring gutters, laybacks, lintels and finishing.

I also helped the site co-ordinator resolve a few plan design problems where gutters were charging water away from pits, not into them.

We do it all, heavy plant and machinery, civil constructions, concreting….

Check out this exciting project for one of our new commercial clients.
10 x Commercial feline animal breeding pens!

2 x runs each 10m long, 2m deep and 3m tall at the front, tapering back to 2.4m at rear.
50x50x2mm SHS frame wrapped in 0.9mm wire mesh panels with 0.9mm cold roll sheet metal around the bottom.

Will be fitted out with “kitty super highways”!!!

This is one of the coolest projects we’ve undertaken this year. We were given a rough floor plan, a rigid budget and full autonomy.
It’s not often a client let’s you loose to demonstrate the full extent of your steel working skills.

Keep your eyes glued to this space because this project will be our new portfolio centrepiece!

- sleeved sliding additional extendable pens, the last pen can be slid in and out of the frame for additional pen as required.
- cold cut joints for perfect fitup
- MIG/TIG welded

We offer perfectionist standards, take our time and get it right and don’t accept mediocre.

Elderly client had a “professional install” of a lovely Bunnings kitchen… Some of the worst craftsmanship and appliance installs I’ve ever seen.
- kitchen not level
- gas cooktop too large for hole cut
- silicone caulking smeared over the counter and up the tile work
- dishwasher couldn’t come out of hutch because kitchen had collapsed onto it
- pantry cupboards kickboards not even screwed/clipped off
- no kitchen cabinetry doors would close square
- oven falling out of hutch when door opened
- previous trades holes for plumbing holesawed, then realised dishwasher pipes too short to route, instead of buying extension hoses, just cut two more holes.

There was even entire wall sheeting panels missing behind the kitchen and obvious water ingress and mould because of it.

PNJ hire have gone above and beyond to service my organization with truck/trailer and plant hires.

His equipment is better serviced, cleaner, stronger and honestly safer than what I used to run.

Pete literally won my accounts from kennards and Coates.
Every time I’ve called him with no notice requesting gear, he’s moved mountains to accomodate our company.

We decided to give his equipment a birthday present (cleaning) to say Thankyou after he let me take his truck and trailer to Cowra to pickup 3 pallets of turf, without rotting me on excess kms like kennards and Coates like to…

Not only is his gear the best I’ve found in the area, it’s the cheapest and Pete Johnson is one of the most genuine, laid back blokes I’ve had the pleasure of working with in this area.

Conclusion to clients massive landscaping and works.
After days of excavations, dispose rubble, grading and turf underlay spreading, turf has finally gone down.

We were able to put down tall fescue grass, with frosty mornings and cold wet days and force it to establish.

Hit with polyurethane coating to prevent tiles heaving.
Silicone caulk sealed tile to skirt and tile to cabinetry.

Customer recently purchased house and unfortunately, handed over with this as his yard.
Gave discount rate so we can “kid safe” his yard and lay some nice tall fescue turf.

To be grubbed, stripped back, graded, turfed and bamboo removal.

Bamboo was bordering prehistoric in age and pushed the 3T excavator with a 300mm rip bucket to its limits. Removed 4cubes of bamboo roots, excavated 750mm deep, to remove any potential for shoots growing back.

Grubbed entire area with ripper spike, used mud bucket to strip 2inches off the top, and stabiliser bar to back grade final gradient and remove plant track marks.

So excited to return with skid steer to remove dispose stockpiles, spread topsoil and lay turf!!

Retaining wall cut into 2x raised garden beds, Old pond removed, tree stump excavated from pond. Bamboo excavated, garden beds stripped.
6cubes of brick, cement, rubble removed from pond.

Backfilled and compacted ready for topsoil and turf!
Can’t wait to re-attend to box in garden beds, turf and remove dispose waste!
