Check out this new product!! We are the only floorsander in the central west that does this work in repairing the floors and using this filler. This floor may have been a litttle worn, with large gaps between the floor, but this new Berger Pakstop product designed for flexibility and to work with the contraction and expansion of natural timber floors has made a huge difference and brought some strength back to the floor. This client chose black, but it is also available in many other colours. I find that black works well to enhance the floors natural beauty, but the choice is up to you. This product can be a cost effective choice instead of covering with another floor.

What makes us different?
* Orange and district floor sanding is a small family based business running out of Orange.
* We specialise in carpentry and floor restoration meaning if you need floor repairs, stairs built, floors laid etc we can do all of this for you as part of the one job. You won’t need multiple trades to get your floors completed.
* we nail punch and fill all nail holes with matching colour putty
* We use top German or Australian made products
All water based finishes are 2 pac finishes which are commercial grade finish for your home for added durability.
* We do stains that we buff into your timber prior to clear coat - we don’t just paint the stain over the top. Why is this better? Because if the colour is just painted over the top and you get a scratch in your floor, you lose the colour leaving you with the original colour highlighting the scratch. With our process of buffing the stain into the timber, there is less likelihood of this occurring.
* We use a three coat system which is as per the manufacturers guidelines. The first coat is a sealer, placing a protective layer on the timber to help stop any chemicals in the floor or timber tenans from leaching into the clear coat. We then add two coats of final finish with a buff prior to final coat. This helps get a smooth final coat and is another step for quality check prior to final finish.
* We strive on quality and use only the best products that are tried and tested and will give you many years of wear.

Traditional floor sanding isn’t expensive, it can quite often be the same price as covering in carpet and gives a finish that doesn’t harbour dust or mites and is easy to clean.
