Fences typically fail when acting as a retaining wall.

Pretty proud of this before and after, cleaned up the fence line and site ready for future development.

Lest we forget

β€œHere in East Gippsland, the spirit of Anzac lives on through the stories of local veterans, the solemnity of our dawn services, and the values of resilience, mateship and service to community that remain at the heart of regional life.

We thank those who serve and have served.
May we always honour their memory not only with words, but through the way we support one another, strive for peace, and strengthen the communities they fought to protect.”

Today, on Anzac Day, the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings, we take a moment to reflect on the enduring significance of this national day of remembrance.

Each Anzac Day, we honour the courage, service and sacrifice of the Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women – past and present – who have served our countries in times of war, conflict and peacekeeping.

We also remember their families and the communities who supported them, often quietly bearing the weight of their loved ones' service.

Here in East Gippsland, the spirit of Anzac lives on through the stories of local veterans, the solemnity of our dawn services, and the values of resilience, mateship and service to community that remain at the heart of regional life.

We thank those who serve and have served.
May we always honour their memory not only with words, but through the way we support one another, strive for peace, and strengthen the communities they fought to protect.

Lest we forget.
