We are future proofing this switchboard in Westlake with a big upgrade to improve electrical safety and make room for future changes.

One of the goals for this switchboard upgrade was to reduce fault areas and make room for future additions. We added in surge protection and an Energex Lock to ensure all of this household's current needs were met and secure.

An existing pool, but a new pool fence! Come with us to see the process of earthing all components of the metal fence.

Because the fence is within 1.2m of the waters edge, it requires earthing. We’ve added subtle earthing points, 316 stainless steel bolts, and external tooth lock washwers for continuity and longevity, before installing cabling all the way back to the dedicated pool equipment circuit.

Last time you saw us on this project we were updating the kitchen lights, and now it is time for the lounge, entry and laundry. And of course a fan to keep things cool and suit the new look.

This client has opted for a mix of downlights and surface mounted downlights to create some visual variations in each space.

This customer is renovating their new unit and called in Andylec to modernise the lighting throughout.

This project started in the kitchen, where the exisiting down lights were replaced with modern, white, flush mounted down lights. The customer opted to go with a warm-toned light to complement, rather from detract from the pendant light also being installed.

The new pendant replaced an outdated ceiling sconce and, after some discussion with the customer, was positioned perfectly in the centre of the space. The height was carefully chosen to suit the dining area, creating the perfect setting for entertaining guests and enjoying board games with friends.

Stay tuned to see Andy tackle the living space and laundry!
