Park Terrace | Interior Details 🤍

Today’s site visit captured the interior finishes as they slowly begin to come together.

A formal checkerboard entry sets the tone at the front of the house, combining Carrara and Indian Green marble in a classic composition that feels both traditional and fresh. Beyond, crazy paving flows through the expansive kitchen and out into the courtyard, creating a beautiful connection between inside and out.

Upstairs, tiling to the first floor bathrooms is now complete. The winter sunlight coming through the rooms has been picking up all the subtle tones and textures within the natural stone and porcelain tiles. In the powder room, the tumbled marble tiles are down and just waiting on the final fixtures to be installed.

What feels most special about Park Terrace is the balance between restoration and renewal — carefully bringing back the original character of the terrace while layering in contemporary details for modern living.

Walking through this remarkable home with our Creative Director before demolition begins — discussing design details, proportions, and the future vision for the house.

There is always a real sense of excitement at this stage of a renovation. The house is stripped back to its essence, allowing us to fully appreciate the scale, light, and original character of the spaces before the transformation begins.

An extraordinary Victorian-era mansion and a rare freestanding residence in Paddington, Lammermuir House is one of the area’s original homes.

In its empty form, the home feels especially beautiful. Natural light pours through the rooms, while original detailing and aged textures.

Surrounded by established gardens, it feels worlds away from the city — hard to believe this quiet sanctuary sits in the heart of Paddington.

We are seeking a mid-level to senior Architect with 5 – 10 years postgraduate industry experience to join our design team. Whilst this is an architectural role, we are looking for a candidate who has a refined eye for interior design and a passion for design more generally.

Proficient ArchiCAD skills and good construction knowledge and ability to prepare construction details to achieve design intent essential.

Moncur House | Master Bedroom 🤍

A quiet transformation, swipe to see the 'before' the Modify renovation.

The first floor was carefully replanned to improve functionality, with the removal of the existing fireplace allowing the bedroom to be reoriented for a more generous layout.

The interiors palette leans into a sense of calm—soft finishes, new carpet and full-length curtains framing the traditional doors that open onto the restored verandah. Existing furniture pieces were thoughtfully retained and integrated, layered with new lighting and a refreshed paint palette.

The result is an elegant, peaceful retreat that feels both timeless and personal.

Ocean House | Kitchen Renovation

Swipe to see the transformation. From a dark, low-ceilinged rear space to a light-filled, contemporary kitchen, this renovation reflects the clients’ desire for a refined home suited to modern living.

The clients were ready to create a contemporary, refined home, and our first instinct was to remove the outdated rear roof to reclaim ceiling height, natural light, and everyday livability. The kitchen and rear extension were deliberately designed to feel distinct from the home’s formal, traditional rooms — a cooler, modern palette sits in contrast to the heritage warmth, with concrete floors incorporating underfloor heating and a refined display bar anchoring the space.
