Another milestone reached on our Industrial Refurbishment project 👏 for KSG Civil & Construction

The external staircase is now installed, external painting is complete, ceiling tiles are in, and our tilers are back onsite to complete the final wall tiling. With fit-off works continuing across multiple trades, the project is rapidly approaching completion.

🔧 Project Spotlight: Design & Supply – Monorail Transport Sled

The team at Key Solutions Group has designed and supplied a custom-built Monorail Transport Sled, engineered to safely and efficiently move supplies and equipment along underground rail infrastructure.

From concept through to fabrication, our engineering and workshop teams worked closely to deliver a solution built for the demands of underground mining conditions capacity, robust construction, and designed for reliability where it matters most.

This project is another example of KSG's full in-house capability — from design and engineering through to fabrication and supply — delivering practical, purpose-built solutions for our mining, civil, and construction clients across Queensland.

Another productive week at KSG Civil & Construction Paget awning extension project! 👷‍♂️🏗️

Despite ongoing rain, the team has completed the cladding installation and is now progressing flashings and downpipes. With the final gutter components due to arrive soon, we're getting closer to project completion.

Painting is now in full swing across both levels, plumbing and electrical fit-offs have commenced, and ground-level door installations are complete. With cabinetry, final tiling, and remaining service fit-offs coming up next, the project is continuing to move steadily toward completion.

🛠️ Project Spotlight: Longwall Powered Roof Support Rehose ⛏️

Another successful project delivered in the Northern Bowen Basin! 📍 Our team was engaged by a valued client to undertake a complete rehose of their longwall system across 141 Powered Roof Supports.

The project kicked off in our Paget workshop 🏭, where a representative shield was put through a full rehose to develop and trial the methodology before site mobilisation. This phase included building a hose register, work methods, SWIs, a training package, and a pre-installation checklist ✅, plus an audit against recognised fluid power safety standards and the option for 3D scanning for future reference.

From there, our Field Team mobilised to site 🚛 and completed the rehose of all 141 shields on schedule, including hydraulic isolation, oil cleanliness sampling, hose removal and installation, and full recommissioning and function testing - all units returned to operational readiness and ready for deployment underground. ⚙️

A great example of what our integrated Engineering, Workshop and Field teams can deliver when planning and collaboration come together. 🙌 Well done to everyone involved!

🛠️ PROJECT COMPLETE: Feeder Breaker Overhaul 🛠️

Another major project delivered by the KSG team! We're proud to showcase the full overhaul of a Feeder Breaker for a client operating in the Northern Bowen Basin.

This project was a true demonstration of our in-house capabilities, with our Workshop, Electrical, Engineering and Paint teams working together from start to finish.

The scope included:

🔧 Full strip-down, inspection and functional testing
⚡ Complete electrical system overhaul to AS3800 compliance
🔩 Mechanical repairs across hydraulics, crawlers, conveyor and breaker systems
🎨 Reassembly, repaint and final test & commission

The result? A fully refurbished, AS3800-compliant machine returned to site with improved reliability and increased operational availability — helping our client get back to production with confidence.
