NEW JOB LISTING! 1st Year Cabinet Making Apprenticeship PARKES

BDN Kitchens are seeking applications for a fulltime Cabinet Making Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will complete a Certificate III in Cabinet Making. In this role we will help you get an Apprenticeship and become a fully qualified Cabinetmaker of the highest calibre. Working within our modern manufacturing facility at BDN Kitchens, this is a rare opportunity to learn a trade with the help of our experienced cabinetmaking team.

Who are we:

BDN Kitchens is owned by Peter and Trudy McMaster. We have been in the business for over 13 years.

We have our own factory with a showroom. We have 4 employees currently, one in the office and the other 3 out in the workshop.

Our skilled team at BDN takes pride in producing and delivering high quality work and a custom designed product to our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Building and constructing kitchen cabinets
• Use hand and power tools
• Operating our CNC
• Reading and interpreting plans
• Installing kitchens and other cabinetry
• And more!
This position will suit persons: -
• who have outstanding attention to detail
• who enjoy working with their hands
• with an ability to listen and to follow procedures
• with excellent communication skills
• who are fit and healthy
• hold a P1 drivers license (desirable)
• hold a white card (or willing to obtain)

So many memories.

We would like to make a special mention to our employees. George Greig who was with us 8 years from the beginning. We wouldn't have been able to take over the business without George's expertise and knowledge and we have greatly appreciated all his efforts over the past year. For Spud & Jason for their excellent work manship and their commitment to BDN has been greatly appreciated too. For Lyndell Kennedy who was with us for 3 years and helped us grow our business through the designing and business side of things. For our current team at the moment, David Jolly and Brodi Gavin-Rossiter who have joined us in the past year. We look forward to the next 10 years working with our team and the local community.
