Looking for a Grounds Keeper/Basic Maintenance person.
This position will require the right person to be on site 5 days a week for 4 hours a day, that being from 7am-11am & must hold or willing to obtain a current Working with Children check.
Tasks will incl but not limited to:
-Open site and disarm alarms daily
-Communicate issues to Principals and management
-Action jobs according to priority on the maintenance book
-Clean and tidy walkways and entrances to ensure site is presentable
-Conduct general maintenance tasks as directed (within skill set)
-Problem solve simple technical issues
-Carry out reactive maintenance e.g. change light fittings, unblock toilets, and
repair leaking taps.
-Maintain grounds and gardens
-Waste management
-Assist with operational duties
-Graffiti removal
-Perform weekly safety walks across site and communicate any issues
-Manage contractors as required
-Conduct planned tasks as per planned maintenance schedule
Uniform & tools needed to complete the work with be provided.
