Cundaline Resources is seeking an experienced and competent Supervisor for a new contract under BHP's NPI Newman Housing Portfolio to support its residential programme. The cleaning scope is located within the township of Newman.

Scope of the job:
- Cleaning properties that are unfurnished after renovation
- Cleaning furnished transit properties which are used for temporary holding of new personnel
- Refresh housing stock consisting of unfurnished properties awaiting allocation
- Cleaning properties affected by vandalism, incident and accidents
- Cleaning two offices and a depot
- Other task as required by their line Manager

The Supervisor must be qualified with a minimum Certificate 3 in Hospitality and/or have relevant or complimentary qualifications. They must meet the requirements of Section 22 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984.

Supervisor Duties:
- be with the team for 50% of shifts
- accountable for safe completion and quality of the work schedule
- present at the commencement of all ad hoc duties
- correlate and sign off on all reports and handovers
- attend weekly meetings
- as required

The role is residential in Newman and the successful applicant will be offered a property provided by the BHP NPI management and must be willing to reside in the township of Newman. They will also be eligible for BHP residential accomodation subsidies. Preference will be given to an arrangement where the partner of the successful candidate is experienced and qualified to work in the mining industry. We will assist where possible to deliver this outcome. We believe this will create stability and a willingness to live in the township of Newman.

The contract duration is 12 months with full entitlements (standard 3 month probation), with the option to extend another 12 months and beyond.

The cleaner positions available are targeted at local Indigenous people who reside in the township of Newman. This is as a part of our local content initiative targeting unemployed Indigenous people in the township of Newman.

You are required to have experience in cleaning, with a Certificate 2 in Hospitality or be willing to enrol in the Certificate 2.

Business hours run between 8.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. A total of 6 positions are available - both permanent and casual.

The project is set for an early May 2020 commencement.

Cundaline is currently experiencing an expansion in our projects and is seeking expressions of interest for the position of HSE Advisor to join one of our Project Management Teams.

Cundaline is seeking a suitable qualified person to undertake the role of HSE Advisor on one of our projects in the Pilbara region of WA.

The successful person will be part of a small site-based Project Management Team and will assist the Project Manager in implementing the HSE management system.

The HSE Advisor will also provide assistance and guidance to the Project Management Team in managing the requirements of the Clients’ and Cundaline’s HSE requirements.

The HSE advisor will also be required to provide support the Cundaline Management Team in the reviewing the current HSE systems and documentation.

The successful candidate shall have:
• Experience in working on remote mine and civil earthworks projects on a FIFO basis.
• Qualifications in Cert 4 Occupational Health and Safety is essential
• Qualification in Cert 4 Trainer and Assessor is desirable
• Experience as a HSE Advisor on Civil construction projects;
• Be able to pass a Pre-Employment and Drug and Alcohol screening test.
