Where do we even start?

For 35 years, if you needed paint in Osborne Park, there was only one place to go. Joe built his paint store / coffee shop / man cave for over three and a half decades.

Customers became mates and tradies became lifelong friends.

When Kardan Paintworks took over the business last year, Joe didn't just hand over the keys and head off into retirement. He stayed.

He stayed to introduce us to the customers he'd looked after for decades.

He stayed to share the knowledge that only comes from 35 years behind the counter, personally ensuring the success of everyone who walked through the doors.

That says everything you need to know about him. He is incredibly warm-hearted, generous in sprit, funny, and a true gentleman.

Thank you for your patience, your stories, your advice, and for making us feel part of the family from day one.

And to Joe's wife Isabel, thank you for sharing him with all of us. Running a small business is never a one-person job, and while Joe was looking after generations of customers, you were there supporting him every step of the way.

Businesses are built with bricks and mortar, but legacies are built with people. Thanks for building one of the best, Joe. We promise to look after it from here.
