Now Hiring: Experienced Pipe Layer!

We are looking for a skilled Pipe Layer or someone who has had experience working in the pipelaying industry to join our team! If you have experience with sewer, stormwater, and common trenching, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair sewer and stormwater pipes
Perform trenching and excavation tasks for utilities
Ensure work is completed safely and according to code
Operate heavy machinery and tools as needed
Work in both residential and commercial projects
Requirements:

Proven experience in pipe laying, sewer, and stormwater systems
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Safety-conscious and reliable
Ability to work independently or as part of a team

USCM is a leading Australian owned and operated construction company with its head office located in Perth, Western Australia. We specialise in providing quality detailed finished works, pipeline upgrades an roadworks to all industries across Australia.
The Roles:
We are currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators for various projects based south of the river. The works are based on a highway construction projects, sub divisions and drainage upgrades across perth.
Commencing immediately, it is expected that the work will continue for approx. 12 months + Working hours are Mon – Fri 10 hrs per day & half day on Saturday (optional)
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years in a similar position
* WA Drivers Licence & own reliable transport
* Excavator ticket
* OHS Construction Card
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
* work with a drainage team as well as work unsupervised when necessary
* Excavate to pipe laser grade for sewer and storm water
* Read and understand survey pegs as well drawing plans
* Detailed finished works, housekeeping left clean,tidy and safely at the end of every shift
* Pride in there work as well taking care of the machine
* Be able Install stormwater pipes with the excavator
* Offset drainage pegs
* Excavate straight trenches with benches

An excavator operator who understands and knows his job role with a Positive “can do” attitude coz as we know brilliant operators “make it happen”
