After-hours works for a seamless transition.

Last night our team carried out an out-of-hours shutdown to minimise disruption to business operations while completing a major electrical upgrade.

The project included the installation of a commercial-rated 125A Sigenergy Gateway and a complete switchboard upgrade, with essential and non-essential circuits separated to enable true backup capability.

When the grid goes down, the business can continue operating critical loads using stored battery power and solar generation, helping to reduce downtime and keep operations running when it matters most.

Willo’s first Commercial Fronius VERTO install on a commercial solar project completed by the team this week. ☀️

This installation features 30kW of solar paired with a 20kW Fronius Verto inverter — our first Verto installation and certainly not the last.

The system will help offset the site’s daytime energy consumption, reducing reliance on the grid and lowering operating costs during business hours.

We have also future-proofed the installation, giving the client the option to add battery storage down the track. If grid outages become a bigger concern, batteries can keep essential circuits running when the power goes out. Keeping the business running!

Our team has recently completed this impressive installation featuring 200 solar panels spread across 6 different roof sections, maximising available roof space while maintaining a clean and professional finish.

The system is driven by 2 x Sungrow 50kW commercial inverters, delivering reliable performance and helping reduce the hotel’s ongoing energy costs for years to come.

Stage One Complete ✔️

This one is coming together nicely. The solar panels are now installed and stage one is complete. We’re just waiting on the builder to finish the remaining house works before we return for stage two, where we’ll complete the electrical connections into inverter and batteries then commission.
