Not every stonework job comes with a clean slate.

Our ongoing church project in York has been a different kind of challenge, working on an older building with plenty of history and character.

It's the sort of job where taking your time matters. Paying attention to the existing structure, working through the details and making sure the new stonework sits naturally with what's already there.

A great project for the lads to be involved in, and we're looking forward to showing more as it progresses.

A fireplace that deserves to be the centrepiece.

Some recent stonework completed in Swan View, bringing natural texture and character to one of the home's most important features.

There's something about a stone fireplace that never goes out of style. A proper feature that looks just as good when the fire isn't burning.

A good entrance sets the tone before anyone steps inside.

These coffee rock piers add a natural, solid feel to the front of the property while keeping the finish warm, simple and full of character. Stonework like this doesn’t need to be overdone. When the material is right and the work is done properly, the result speaks for itself.

A first look at our church restoration project in York.

Stage one is well underway, with the lads working through the exterior stone face and bringing this old building back to life piece by piece.

There’s been plenty of hard graft in this one, but it’s coming together really nicely and we’re excited to show you the next stages as the project progresses.

Stay tuned for more from this job.

There’s something special about working with local stone.

This coffee rock was sourced from Mundaring and used on an entrance job in York, bringing a natural WA character to the finished work.

Real stone has texture, weight and variation that can’t be copied. Every piece has its own shape, colour and surface, which is what gives the final job its character.

Locally sourced. Built by hand. Built to last.

Progress coming along nicely in York.

The lads have been working away on the exterior stone face of this old church, bringing the wall back to life piece by piece.

Still a little way to go on this one, but it’s already starting to take shape and we’re looking forward to getting it over the line and showing the finished result.

Coffee rock entrance completed for our valued client in York.

This stone was sourced from Mundaring, giving the job a strong local WA connection and a natural finish full of texture and character.

That’s the beauty of real stone. Every piece is different, and when it’s built properly, it creates an entrance that feels solid, timeless and completely unique.

A big one underway....

Shamrock Stonemasons have been working on stage one of this old church project, bringing traditional stone masonry skills to a building with real history and character. Jobs like this take time, patience and a proper respect for the original structure. Every section has to be worked through carefully, keeping the character of the building while making sure the stonework is finished properly.

We’re looking forward to sharing more from this project as it takes shape.
