Guys I'm seeing huge amounts of moth activity on lawns at the moment, while the moths themselves are completely harmless, they are a sure sign bad things are on their way.
They are around all day but late afternoon if you walk around and a cloud of moths come out, or if the chitty chitty (w***y wag tails) are out stomping around on your lawn, there is a really good chance you are going to be having a run in with either, sod webworm or army worm, if you get them early enough in the season they will absolutely decimate your lawn if left untreated.

There are quite a few systemic options now, meaning you apply it once and for 6 months you don't need to worry about any pesky bug lips destroying your lawn!
I have been known to headbutt an armyworm to dust, and I will 100% kidney punch the s**t out of a sod webworm when I see them on your lawn, but there is only so much i can do as 1 man on a fortnightly visit when these pests come in plague proportions.
