Name and Shame

Name and Shame Uniting the community against theft, vandalism & illegal dumping in the Building Industry.Help your new home get built cheaper and faster!

Name and Shame began in 2003 to reduce theft and vandalism on building sites. Partnering with the Housing Industry Association, West Australian Police and Meridian Services, the campaign aims to identify offenders and with the assistance of the Police ensure offenders are prosecuted. The Name and Shame Campaign began when a group of major builders banded together to try and find a way to prevent t

heft and vandalism on building sites. As the name suggests, on conviction, all adult offenders are publicly named as a further deterrent to committing crime on building sites. Funded solely by the building industry members and sponsors, the Name and Shame Campaign increases public and industry awareness of the problems and costs associated with building site crime and offers substantial rewards for any information leading to the arrest of offenders. So far the campaign has handed out over $150,000 in rewards to members of the general public. Name and Shame Campaign began in 2003 to reduce theft and vandalism on building sites.
