Conor George was named the winner of the 2023 MPA Skills and CTF Plumbing Apprentice Achievement and Encouragement award, for his attitude to work, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.

The trainers mentioned that Conor is a very keen student who has shown a good attitude throughout both his pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship.

As a mature-aged apprentice with experience in retail plumbing, this background has helped him understand and apply his knowledge and experience to his training.

Conor takes $500 cash from the Construction Training Fund, $100 cash from Galvin Engineering, a brand new Enware 2023 Aquablend TMV 1500 and a goodie bag from Beyond Tools.

So proud of Conor’s achievement last night at the 2023 MPA Skills and Enware Plumbing Industry Awards Night. This is a tremendous achievement, especially for a first year apprentice.
Although we know his potential, we are thankful he has been recognised by the industry.
Conor has set the foundation for what is no doubt, going to be a tremendous career in plumbing.
We are lucky to have him on our team.

Congratulations to Corey from Plumbset for being selected to compete in the 2022 MPA Skills Plumbing Apprentice of the Year Competition. Corey was one of 12 that competed over a day to demonstrate their plumbing and gas abilities.
This the second year that Corey has competed in the Apprentice of the Year Awards - a great recognition of his high achievement throughout his apprenticeship.
Plumbset was also a finalist in the Host Employer of the Year Awards at the MPA Skills Plumbing Industry Awards Night.

We are proud to announce that Plumbset's Corey De Nicolis received the MPA Skills Achievement Award for 2nd Apprentices at the recent MPA Skills Awards Night 2021. Although in his third year now, Corey consistently displays skills well above his year level and is an outstanding asset to our team. Congratulations Corey!

A handy tip from the Water Corporation. If you have a leaking cistern, Plumbset are Waterwise certified plumbers.

A constant trickle into the toilet bowl wastes around 9,000 litres a year!
To check for this type of leak in your home, place a sheet of toilet paper under the rim in the back of the bowl (half an hour after the last flush when the bowl should be dry).
