Another before and after, this hiace came in for a makeover, the customer had been living in it for 12 months and wanted to make it more liveable. We stripped it empty, insulated with Corkon, made new door and wall cards, lined the ceiling and put a vinyl floor in.

We then made custom cabinets with heaps more storage, bedside storage, bench seat up front with lift up lid, fridge cabinet, added an adjustable table and had her electrical system tidied up with upgraded wiring which will see substantial gains from her solar panel.

Some before and after pics of a truck we had the pleasure of fitting out, it was in quite a sad state of affairs when we got it. We started by stripping it out then spray on Corkon insulation throughout. We built a new kitchen, new bedroom, made a new table and seating area which also converts to a bed. Finished off with EVA foam flooring throughout. One of the most satisfying builds we’ve done, we love it when customers tell us “just build it as if it was yours”!

This build was for a vending machine business, custom built to make life easier. 1400L drawer rated to 225kg with removable inserts and dividers with multiple configurations for stocking drinks and snacks. Twin 30L fridge drawers and compartment to house the trolley. All made from premium marine ply.

A Mitsubishi Delica with a modified version of our universal fit camper to be used as a rental camper van. These are a great setup with a full size 2000 x 1400 bed which converts into U shape seating with a pop up table. Slide out kitchen and slide out storage drawer with pop up extensions on each side. Up front has a heap of storage underneath for a drawer fridge, battery, luggage or whatever else you need to stow away. $4900

Another Hiace SLWB we have done some work on. We get lots of customers come with a project they started 1 year, 2 years or even longer ago and find they don’t have the time, tools or skills required to complete the work. This van arrived with the electrics wired and some framing on the wall.

We have lined the ceiling with holes for the down lights and max fan, finished framing the walls and lined them with the supplied van seal, framed out the windows then cladded with marine ply. We also made some new doors cards to match so this van is now ready for the customer to continue.

Phase one of this build is complete, we insulated with Corkon, made a marine ply floor with access to spare wheel, fuel pump, factory tie down points and motorcycle stand. Finished with lining the ceiling. The van will come back later once the customer has finalised their cabinet requirements.

Today we finished a complete custom set up for a DIY installation into a 200 series commuter. The set includes a marine ply floor, full size 2000 x 1400 bed with removable centre sections to use a U shape seating during the day, L shape kitchen with sink cutout, space for an 85L upright fridge and slide out cooking as well as a full set of overhead cabinets and an adjustable table.

We are back in the workshop and just finished this mid roof wide body hiace with middle row seats for the folks at Auto Japan. Features an east/west bed, slide out table, 2 huge 1200L drawers with removable dividers, slide out kitchen, upright fridge cabinet and storage cupboard in the back.
