Looming on the horizon is the tightening of regulations for airborne contaminants found in vehicle fumes and auto workshops.

Come 1st December 2026, Australia will be moving from Workplace Exposure Standards (WES) to Workplace Exposure Limits (WEL), which are stricter and more enforceable.

There's currently no WES for diesel particulate matter (DPM) but soon there will be a WEL for DPM... and for carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide.

JetBlack Safety wall-mounted cleaning stations are being used in our client's waste oil recycling plants throughout Malaysia and Indonesia, to help workers safely clean up on site. Located close to entry/exit points, workers can do a quick clean down when leaving the dirty workplace. Starting with a couple of units at each site, we're anticipating there's more to come as the workers discover the merits of the cleaning stations.
