Thank You Lianne. Here's to your next chapter!!!

It is with very much mixed emotions that Mills Group WA says farewell to our much loved business Development Manager Lianne Moore. Huge sadness at our loss but great excitement for you as you embark on the next chapter of your career.
Words are inadequate to express our gratefulness and appreciation of the incomparable contribution you have made to the business and all of us personally over the past 10 years. Saying goodbye is never easy, especially to someone who has been such an integral part of the team.

Having been part of Mills Group WA since its inception you have been a major driving force in getting the business to where it is today. Your hard work endeavor and enthusiasm (especially in the tough times) was crucial to developing the successful family culture that runs through our team.

While we will all miss seeing you at work, we are so pleased that you have the opportunity to step away and focus on the farm at this time. We wish you only wonderful things and every success as you embark on the next chapter of your career.

🗒𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

You may remember before Christmas we shared a story of James and the paving modifications we carried out at his home.

Well …as promised check out the before and after photo and see the excitement on James face! 🥰
He was so keen to try his new shower for the first time he even jumped in in his PJ’S

Through 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯 and 𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗦 we were able modify the family bathroom for James to enable him to have more independence when showering and using the bathroom.

During the modifications we removed the existing shower and hob and built a new walk in shower to which will prevent any more falls for James. We also removed and replaced the vanity unit, built a wall separate toilet/ powder room and put up a super cool shower curtain that reads “Treat yourself” which James sister bought for him.

We also built new external concrete steps with handrails down to the lower garden so James can help out with laundry duties and hang the washing out.

I have spent time with the family since the modifications were completed and happy to know James absolutely loves his new found independence.

His smile is the reason we love what we do!

𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 .. 🤔

Not so obvious is it?

To this family the subtle change you may have spotted means more to this family than I could have EVER imagined.

Through Better Rehab - Western Australia and NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme we were able to provide a simple ramp in the paving for James.

James is a 29-year-old avid football player that sometimes finds it a little challenging to access the garden without tripping over the sliding door frame
The small change in levels now mean it is much safer and easier to walk in and out of the doors.

I have spent a few mornings with the family, drinking tea and eating some delicious treats!
James's mum explained that the work we had carried out had given her comfort in knowing that James can begin to live a more independent life at home and the risk of injuring himself will be reduced.
I was very humbled in knowing that we had made such a huge difference to the family.

The ramps are just a very small part of works that we will carrying out for the family. We will be remodelling the bathroom, removing shower hobs and creating much more spaced to move around. We are also installing new external steps and handrails down to the lower garden so James can spend more time in outside and doing some much-loved gardening.
