Survey is not always sunshine and rainbows.
There’s cloudy skies, rain drops survey stops, pressure to keep all work teams moving, technical challenges, safe work practices and meeting deliverable deadlines.
Our people are the core of our business. As a team we get through the rainy days with shared knowledge, expertise, support and passion. Sometimes the challenge ignites us.
If it’s setting out services for large scale land subdivisions, calcing meticulous SMP tolerances, laser scanning CBD office interiors, setting bolts at new high school facilities, monitoring lift shafts, bashing a wooden stake into pindan rock, traversing the Pilbara landscape or piloting drone flights of stockpile materials - day to day we rise to the challenge.
The core of what allows us as a business to push through the rainy days is our people.
We see out this week with a nod back to our June Hawkeye Team Toolbox meeting.
Once a quarter at these meetings we announce our Team Award winner for that quarter.
It’s hard not to feel the warm and fuzzies when you hear about these nominations.
Peer nominated celebrations of our people and how they uphold our core values of Accuracy, Efficiency and Integrity.
Our graduates straight out of studies receiving multiple nominations from different sources, long standing team members getting stuck in and getting the work done - all being seen and respected by their peers.
Words like consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic and willingness to contribute whenever needed, having a positive impact through his proactive approach, demonstrating outstanding efficiency and adaptability whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. Great professionalism, a can do attitude, a silent achiever, closing out tasks and providing solid handovers, going above and beyond expectations, always looking for ways to contribute, motivated to learn and continuously develop skills whilst remaining open to feedback.
By recognising our wins big and small, these awards inspire us to strive for continuous improvement and success, fostering a culture of motivation and inspiration within the team.
