❤️Belated Painter Appreciation Day Post! ❤️
Things we can learn from painters:
They're always looking up - literally.
(And yes, this is why your neck is always sore!).
As a painters partner, this is a view I know well. Watching Jackson as he spends his days looking up, chasing perfect lines, smooth ceilings and a flawless finish. Long hours, tired body, paint everywhere - and still turning up every day to do it all again.
And when he comes home, he doesn’t talk about how hard it was. He talks about what he achieved, the ceiling he nailed, the finish he’s proud of, the problem he solved. The smiles on his clients faces when they witness the transformations.
That kind of passion is something only a good painter has and that commitment deserves recognition.
Somewhere along the way, I also became "that person" the one who will shut down anyone who says, “If you can p*ss, you can paint.” Because I now know better. Painting is skilled, technical, precise work, and without doubt one of the most undervalued trades out there.
I will fight anyone who wants to disagree!
Painters don't just apply colour - they lift spaces, standards and expectations. And yes it helps when they are backed by products and equipment that works as hard as they do.
So, heres a belated but very heartfelt thank you to you Jackson McVicker, Jackson Mcvicker 'Senior' & all the painters, from the families that see the effort behind the finish. You are appreciated!
