We are looking for a Trade Assistant to work with fluid applied material (epoxy) to create seamless surfaces on concrete floors, walls and tank linings. 1 year project in Kwinana, and ongoing work in the future.
Job requirements:
· Loading and unloading work trucks to include cleaning of equipment and organization.
· Set-up and organize mixing area, mix material to precise measurement, also tracking material usage
· Safety conscious
· Assisting with preparation of concrete; Grinding, blasting and scarifying, patching and filling and clean up
· Assisting with mixing and applying various 2 pack and resinous products
· Assisting with floor and wall application including spraying, rolling, brushing and clean up
· Willing to work long hours when required
· Following instructions from supervisor
· Work independently and in a team
Materials and Tools Used:
Blaster, grinders, hand tools, epoxy, polyurethanes, various chemicals, and spray equipment for walls, and use of pneumatic and three phase equipment.
Valid Driver’s License
Prior experience of surface preparation and application of 2 pack products preferred but not required
