As an already established carpentry service we have decided to branch out and make custom toy boxes. Our boxes are made from mdf (medium density fibre board) and sprayed with three clear coats of lacquer and finished off with a further two coats of white lacquer to give a smooth quality finish. Also other materials on request. We have two styles of both boxes and lids and both boxes will accommod
ate both lids. Our boxes come with hinges and also a soft closer to stop the lids from slamming down protecting tiny fingers. They come in two sizes : 900W x 450D and 450 H and 750W x 450D x 450H.Bigger ones can be made on request. We don't paint the inside of the boxes, they have a couple of coats of clear lacquer to seal them. The reason for this is we feel that over time with toys going in and out the paint would get quite scratched and look unsightly although should you wish we will of course spray the inside too for a small charge. The boxes can also be used as ottomans and baby blanket boxes. The inside of these would be painted. These can be made to match your existing bedroom furniture and décor.
