Stage 1 of works. Strip and load out the existing asphalt, break out the 300mm concrete plinth. Remove the failing retaining wall. Remove HD concrete pad below.
Prep for new retaining.
180m3 concrete and 90m3 asphalt removed. Demobilised - Done!

Bit of a tricky task undertaken yesterday by the Allday team. With the Balcatta tip being closed for the first time in 2 1/2 years for our works the stakes were high.
Backfilling and compacting these 3.8m deep loading bays in layers. With near zero visibility of the bucket in the lower sections the Leica machine control in 2D mode showed me bucket angle and assisted to maintained equal lifts all the way to the top.
All done and cleaned up by 3pm 🤜
