Meet John - Mechanic

Every team needs someone behind the scenes making sure everything runs like it should, and for us, that’s Papa John.

John looks after all maintenance and repairs, keeping our equipment sharp, serviced and ready to go at all times. From chainsaws to machinery, he makes sure the boys are never held up by gear that isn’t up to standard.

His role might be behind the scenes, but it’s a crucial one. Well-maintained equipment means:

▪️ Safer jobs
▪️ More efficient work
▪️ Better results for our clients

He’s the backbone of the operation and we wouldn’t run nearly as smoothly without him.

The CTE Traccess T170 doing what it does best! 🌳

Overhanging branches at risk of dropping? That’s a big no from us. Trimmed back and this property is safe again.

Meet Eddie - Groundsman

Eddie is our groundsman, and if you’ve booked in a stump grinding job, chances are he’s the one you’ll meet on site.

Known around the team as “Steady Eddie”, he’s exactly that, calm, reliable and always switched on. While the rest of the crew might bring the energy, Eddie is the one keeping things grounded and running smoothly.

He’s our go-to when it comes to safety and compliance, making sure everything is done properly and by the book. If there’s a checklist, Eddie’s already ticked it off. If there’s a safer way to do something, he’s already onto it.

Every good team needs someone with a level head and for us, that’s Eddie.

This shed was starting to lose the battle… 🌳😅

We headed out to Safety Bay where this large Agonis tree had grown right over the backyard shed, with branches hanging onto the roof and getting a little too close for comfort.

Eddie carefully trimmed it back, giving the shed some much-needed clearance while keeping the tree looking tidy.

He’s also one of the friendly faces you’ll meet on site, taking pride in providing great customer service and helping clients feel comfortable throughout the job.

Overgrown trees and bushes around powerlines can quickly become a serious safety issue, especially when strong winds and wild weather roll through.

The JTS crew can help clear and manage vegetation around powerlines, keeping the area tidy and reducing potential hazards.

This is definitely one of those jobs you don’t want to DIY. Leave it to the professionals who have the experience and equipment to get it done properly 🌳⚡️

Lewis making his way up this Norfolk Island Pine before it came down 🌲

When a tree this tall needs to be removed, it takes more than just a chainsaw. It takes careful planning, controlled cuts and a climber who knows exactly what they’re doing.

Another technical removal handled safely by the JTS crew.
