Here are some before and after photos from a garage we did. It's amazing how good LED lighting is. The first photo has just fluorescent tubes, this photo was taken during the day. The other three photos have the LED batterns, these photos where taken at night. What a difference.

Call me now to get your lights upgraded to LED.

Yesterday we installed a couple of black sweep fans and four LED Batterns in this alfresco area. Along with the install of six aluminum roller shutters by our sister company Master Shutters. I think this outdoor area has been finished of perfectly, if i don't say so myself. Have a look at a short video we put up on Master Shutters to see the full affect.

Yet another house fire caused by halogen downlights... lucky for the home owner they had hardwired smoke alarms and were able to get out of the house.

This is a very serious and common occurrence with halogen downlights as they get to extreme temperatures. This causes blow in insulation and or debris to catch on fire.

I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH... please make sure you have hardwired smoke alarms, make sure you check them annually and replace the battery as needed. If you dont have smoke alarms or need help replacing faulty batteries, please call me.

Also a great way to prevent the fire from even starting is to replace all halogen downlights with LED downlights. They are safer, more efficient, last longer, don't get hot and provide better light. If you would like your lights changed to LEDs, please call me.

Turn your fans off when you’re not using them
In summer, a ceiling fan works by moving air around the room from above and helps us to feel more comfortable by evaporating perspiration on the skin. The blades should spin with the upturned edges leading.
A ceiling fan is much more energy efficient than Air Conditioning; however, remember to turn the ceiling fan off when you leave the room as there is no cooling benefit from leaving the fan running whilst no one is there.

Use your Dimmers and save power
Quite often, people ask us to remove dimmers because they believe they are using more energy. This is not necessarily true.
As long as the light is not being used at full capacity the dimmer will save power by omitting less light, thus reducing the wattage and reducing your energy usage.
