See what’s been happening at the Australian Islamic College in Forrestdale, with key milestones soon approaching across Stages 2 and 3.

Captured in June, this footage shows the new gym and library on Stage 3 taking shape, with structural steel now in place and roofing works scheduled to commence in the coming weeks. Across Stage 2, the new high school, admin, specialty building, and canteen are steadily progressing towards completion, with handover on track for the end of August.

Once complete, Stages 2 and 3 will reshape the Forrestdale campus, delivering the modern learning and recreational facilities needed to support more than 1,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

This role is ideal for an Estimator with a minimum 3 years' estimating experience within the commercial / multi-residential construction industry, ideally with pricing experience and exposure to D&C or ECI engagements. A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar is preferred.

As part of our pre-construction team, you’ll work alongside our Senior Estimator to prepare, coordinate and deliver competitive tenders across a diverse range of projects. You’ll bring a strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement strategies and market pricing, supported by the analytical, problem-solving and communication skills to successfully manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Metrocon are proud to announce that we have been awarded the construction of two new mosques for the Australian Islamic College Perth at their Forrestdale and Henley Brook campuses.

Designed by Archetype Design, these state-of-the-art mosques will provide an enduring spiritual sanctuary for students and their families. The architecture infuses elements of traditional Islamic worship with a considered contemporary design creating a calm, introspective atmosphere. Purpose built spaces for worship and religious practice, they are designed using materials and colours which reflect the Australian environment, and will support the students and wider community for generations to come.

This award extends a program of works already underway across both campuses, which will see Metrocon deliver over $100 million in infrastructure for the Australian Islamic College Perth upon completion. We are grateful to the AIC for the confidence they continue to place in our team and look forward to partnering with Archetype Design and our delivery partners throughout the successful delivery of these sacred spaces.

Metrocon is pleased to announce that construction has officially commenced on Stage 3 at Monument East.

Building upon our success with Stage 1, we're partnering once again with Locus Property to deliver an additional 14 two-storey townhouses for the new community in Fremantle. Upon completion in 2027, this will bring the total to 37 homes across both stages.

Each residence has been thoughtfully designed to offer the best of contemporary inner city living and features spacious three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom or four-bedroom, three-bathroom layouts that strike the perfect balance of style, comfort, and functionality.
