Hansberry Electrical Contractors is looking for a motivated and reliable Mature Age Apprentice Electrician to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to build a long-term career in the electrical industry with a company that values work ethic, attitude, and professionalism above all else.
We are specifically seeking applicants who are 27 years or older and already have experience working within the construction industry.
About the Role
You will work alongside experienced electricians across a variety of residential and commercial projects, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of electrical installation and maintenance.
Typical work includes:
Residential construction
Renovations and extensions
Commercial electrical works
Fault finding and problem solving
Lighting and power installations
Switchboard upgrades
General electrical maintenance
What We’re Looking For
The right candidate will be:
Mature, reliable, and punctual
Motivated to learn and grow within the trade
Able to think critically and solve problems independently
Focused and able to work efficiently without constant supervision
Well presented and professional with clients and builders
Physically fit and comfortable working on construction sites
Safety conscious with a strong attention to detail
A team player with a positive attitude
Essential Requirements
Must be 27 years or older
Previous experience in the construction industry
Current Driver’s Licence
White Card
Strong communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Highly Regarded
Pre-apprenticeship completed
Experience using power tools and reading plans
EWP, Working at Heights, or other tickets
Solar, data, or air conditioning experience
