We work from home.

We charge phones everywhere.

We have TVs, appliances, smart devices, solar, batteries, EVs and more technology coming into our homes every year.

So why shouldn't the electrical system keep up?

I love helping homeowners make their houses work better for the way they actually live.

More power where you need it.

Better lighting.

Smarter controls.

Energy-efficient solutions.

Practical improvements that make everyday life easier.

It's not about having the fanciest house.

It's about having a home that works bloody well for you.

A typical day:

☕ Coffee.

📋 Quote.

🔧 Get stuck into the jobs.

💡 Fix things.

⚡ Install things.

🏡 Make someone's home work a little better.

📋 Finish the day with another quote.

☕ Probably another coffee.

😌 Then finally switch off.

The jobs might be different every day...

One day it's a switchboard.

Next it's a renovation.

Then lighting.

Then fault finding.

Then helping a builder get a project across the line.

That's probably why I still enjoy it after 20 years.

No two days are the same.

And there's always something to fix, improve or build.

There's something pretty satisfying about a renovation.

You start with someone else's idea of what a space could be...

Then slowly watch it come together.

Kitchen.

Bathroom.

Extension.

Outdoor area.

Whole-home renovation.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it is the electrical work that makes the finished space actually function.

Where do the lights go?

Where will you need power?

What needs to be controlled?

What will make life easier?

What will make the finished space look amazing?

That's the part I love — being involved early enough to get the details right.

Because once the walls are closed up, it's too late to wish you'd thought about it earlier. 😂

One thing I've learnt over the years...

Sometimes the best advice isn't “you need this.”

Sometimes it's:

“You probably don't need to spend the money on that.”

If there's a better, simpler or more cost-effective way of doing something, I'll tell you.

Because I'd rather have a customer who trusts me and calls me again than sell someone something they don't need.

Upfront. Honest. Practical.

That's how I like to work.

I really enjoy working with smaller builders.

There's something different about a boutique build.

The builder knows the client.

The client cares about the details.

Everyone is invested in the finished product.

And that's the sort of work I enjoy being part of.

I want to be the electrician who:

✔ Communicates
✔ Turns up
✔ Thinks ahead
✔ Solves problems
✔ Takes pride in the finish
✔ Doesn't need to be chased

Because we're all working towards the same thing:

A bloody good finished home and a happy client.

That's a partnership I'd rather build than just another job.
