Last week, Legeneering hosted the next MEGT Defence Industry Pathways Program cohort for a tour of our Zedora and Jessie Lee production facilities.

The visit provided practical exposure to our defence, marine, industrial, energy and resources capability — including fabrication, mechanical ex*****on, machining support, quality control, safety expectations and project delivery.

The cohort also gained insight into where Legeneering’s services are installed and supported, from local Henderson production through to remote project ex*****on across defence and energy and resources environments.

A highlight of the tour was hearing from Taylor Alexander, Legeneering MEGT 4th Year Apprentice, who shared his journey with Legeneering and the value of hands-on learning, persistence and building a long-term trade career.

Legeneering has worked with MEGT for more than 20 years, and we are proud to continue supporting practical pathways into industry.

Yesterday, 8 employees at Legeneering supported the "Longest Day" golf challenge in Perth, Western Australia. From sunrise to sunset, the team pushed through 72 (and 56) holes in 40 degree heat to raise vital funds for the Cancer Council, supporting life-saving research, prevention programs and families across Australia.

Collectively, our teams raised $6103 for the Cancer Council. This was an incredible achievement for all involved, who embody our Legeneering spirit of challenge, teamwork, and giving back.

We will see the team back on the course next year!
