How it started... how it's going.... tough slog but a challenging, interesting job. Removing the projector stands at the old drive thru cinema.. I think the guy who installed these never planned on them coming out.... 2 down, 2 to go...

Why do we turn up after concrete has been poured to cut tracks in it you ask?
Early entry saws are used to cut control joints in freshly poured concrete for the purpose of managing inevitable cracking. Control joints are intentional cuts usually about 30 mm deep in your average 100 mm slab, they are designed to accommodate movement resulting from temperature fluctuations and drying shrinkage. As concrete is prone to cracking, it is preferable to determine both the location and direction of these cracks, ensuring they occur in straight lines rather than randomly. The optimal method for controlling cracks in concrete involves using the Soff-Cut early entry system. This process uses diamond early entry blades, operated with a Husqvarna early entry saw and paired with a silica dust extractor, to create control joints efficiently and safely.
