Recently we nominated Anton Terry, of Newhaven Electrical Services, for a WA Toy Library Award. When we came to give Anton his certificate, it turns out he is quite camera shy, so the only image we have is a rather shady photo of his lovely certificate, but let us tell you about this awesome electrician.

One of the requirements for some of our electrical toys, such as our lovely light panel, is regular testing and tagging. Most electricians would (rightly) charge us for this task, but Anton refuses to accept any money from us, asking only for a cup of tea (and possibly a biscuit, if there’s one going). This little kindness makes a world of difference for a not-for-profit, where every dollar counts.

Anton has also done work at the homes of our committee members and is reliable, honest and just a genuinely great human being ❤️

So thank you Anton! Next time we’ll work harder to get your face on here ;)
