Today is the birth date of Angelo Moriondo from Italy. He patented the espresso machine in 1884. The machine consisted of a large boiler that pushed heated water through a bed of coffee grounds, with a second boiler producing steam that would flash the bed of coffee and complete the brew.
As far as inventors go, he is my favourite.

Not sure what year Buzz kicked off but I'm thinking 15-20 years has flown by. Many changes have happened although the attention to detail has always been strong.
I thought I had clients yet they are all team players giving input and working together with me to get the job done well.

Just when we think we’ve seen it all, there's this...
A would-be copper thief used an axe to chop into live wires carrying 11,000 volts of electricity this week. The stunt nearly cost this fool their life and also cut power to more than 800 homes and businesses in Slacks Creek.

You can see the hack marks from the axe on the pole and cable, as well as scorch marks from the flashover. Police are investigating, there are also concerns about the wellbeing of the offender: they’ve likely received significant burns, and they’ve been incredibly lucky to escape with their life.

For the umpteenth time, this is an extremely dangerous and stupid thing to try for such minimal reward. If anyone knows anything about this incident, or sees people being shady around poles and wires, please call police immediately.
