Our Story

Our business Chillydog Refrigeration and Air Conditioning was formed back in 2006 and after years of providing reliable service and quality workmanship to local businesses a large loyal client base was formed. We are a local family owned and operated business and are proud to be able to offer our experience and local knowledge to any of our clients, whether that may be in the form of product advice or design of a new premises requiring our skills. Our business continues to grow on solid foundations formed around trust, honesty and reliability, values that we hold dear. We are locals, working for & employing locals. We very much love and respect our beautiful environment and feel privileged to have been able to form a livelihood in such a wonderful part of the world. We are also very proud to be your local sales, service, repair and warranty agents for many large companies such as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, Daikin, Temperzone, Simco, Dometic, Engle, Evacool just to name a few, whom all trust and recognise our brand. TOP DOG CATERING EQUIPMENT our latest business was formed in 2017 after recognising the need for a local catering equipment company, that could provide advice on equipment that is designed to work in our tropical environment. We found that many new clients had been purchasing equipment from either online or from other catering equipment companies without being fully informed of the products intended design use or of the environment that it would comfortably operate within, in other words sold equipment that would not work efficiently if at all here in Tropical North Queensland. With our extensive background in refrigeration, air conditioning, hotel operation and the hospitality industry we have the insight to advise and provide the correct information so that our client gets the desired result the first time and can then simply get on with the main focus which is their own business operations. Top Dog Catering Equipment is also Silverchef agents, which gives clients the option of simply renting or renting to equipment some clients use this option so they may every few years swap out all their tired equipment for new equipment with the latest technology that way avoiding downtime with old products and increasing productivity with the latest innovations available.
