Roof Restoration Procedures

Step 1: Inspection/Quote
The entire roof is inspected for damaged tiles, weepholes, loose or missing bedding and moss/lichen.

Step 2: Repair/Replace
Damaged tiles are replaced. Faulty valley irons are replaced if necessary.

Step 3: Clean
The roof is cleaned using a high pressure cleaner. No chemicals are used to ensure environmental protection.

Step 4: Rebed
All ridge capping is rebedded, if required.

Step 5: Repoint
Ridge capping is then repointed with flexible pointing.

Step 6: Primer/Sealer
The entire roof area is coated with either:

TILE SEALER: A clear acrylic sealer designed to pe*****te and bind oxidised/powdery substrates prior to top coating

TILE PRIMER: A high solids primer to help seal severely porous and pitted tiles prior to top coating. This product is to be used first when there is no residual colour left on the tile.

METAL PRIMER: A pure acrylic blend formulated with anti-corrosion properties, rust inhibitors and added adhesion properties, this is perfect for use as a sealer on metal roof surfaces where there is surface rust across the substrate, resisting bleed through on top coats.

Step 7: 2 Top Coats of roofing membrane.

PREMCOAT: A 100% pure acrylic gloss membrane designed to resurface and protect concrete roof tiles.

or

PREMCOAT PLUS: A 100% pure acrylic high gloss coating used on pre-painted tile roof or metal roof surfaces.
