Today’s concrete adventure took me and the lads to sunny Squeaking Point to place and finish this 9 x 12 shed slab in beautiful concreting conditions and the finished product speaks volumes ☑️

Something a bit different today, a 6 x 5 slab inside an existing shed helping our good mate Nick Cross become one step closer to his plans for his shed area ☑️ Nick had cut out the existing area so we could replace it with thicker and stronger concrete ready to install his new car hoist 🚘

🏡 Oates residence addition

Poured this cute little front door landing I had prepared at home today☑️ 1m3 of the popular Northdown Pebble exposed aggregate mix supplied by the best there is Hazell Bros Concrete👌🏼 A quality mix from this gang as always makes my job so much easier and goes a long way in producing the quality I pride myself on, easy to see why they are the industry leaders🌟

The rest of the household seemed to miss the memo that we were pouring concrete at 7:00am, so poor ol Dad took one for the team and had it in before they had even got out of bed😑

Today the lads and I helped out the boys at Construction King placing and finishing this driveway and surrounds at a new home in Latrobe ☑️ We got a call from our mate Dane King who had had a bad run with the weather and needed to get some conc on the ground whilst the sun was out, so of course we helped them make it happen👊🏼

The boys and I celebrated the birth of the newest member of the LOC Crew by wetting the head with some grey gold in Ulverstone today ☑️

☀️ Featuring a Sneaky Sunday wash off

When a friend contacts you about wanting to put last piece of the puzzle together for their epic new front entrance, we were more than happy to do our part help ☑️

We started off with 2.6 m3 of Northdown Pebble exposed aggregate mix supplied by Hazell Bros Concrete on Saturday🌟 With the front entrance seeing not much if any sun light at all, we ordered the mix at a dry slump which is key in these situations to getting the desired quality finish👌🏼

We returned this morning to pressure wash the top off and woweeee did it come up amazing! The earthy tones of the Northdown Pebble mix tie in beautifully with the colours of the front entrance and once acid washed and sealed will finish it off nicely🧩

Thanks to my boy Kaleb Richards for spending the weekend with me, drinking redbull’s, talking s**t but most importantly helping me get another win in the books, always a pleasure 🐶

A 5:00am start for the lads and I this morning, smashing in this 15 x 10 shed slab in Spreyton well before the sun was up ☀️ Beautiful conditions and a ripper brew playing a big part in getting a quality finish on this one today ☑️
