Position vacant - Auto Electrician/motor mechanic
Experienced apprentices also considered.

Role requirements
Workshop is based in QBN, with our mobile service vehicle working in the ACT region for both trade and retail customers.
Advanced scan tool diagnostics
ECU programming and replacement
Electrical fault finding and repair
Basic mechanical repairs
Automotive air conditioning repairs
12v accessoriy fitment
12-48v power system design and installation

Most work is LV orientated but we do a little bit of HV and off highway.
Work is both workshop and mobile based, so working in a team and solo is required.

For Motor mechanics who wish to allpy, we can offer a dual trade qualification or work as a motor mechanic with MVRL for both.
Successful applicants are required to have a manual driving licence, be presentable and professional.
ARC air con licence is desirable but not essential. Training can be provided.

We get asked if EVs will effect our work.
I dont beleive so.

Here is an example of what's coming.
12v battery is dead flat,
48v battery is dead flat.
Turns out there is a recall, so back to the dealer . But for the generator in this vehicle, but a rough price guide to replace the "alternator" is around $5000 given the $$$ part and amount of work to get to it.

Maxi blade fuses are good for intermittent loads...
We use and recommend MIDI fuses as they are a bolt in connection. As long as you dont forget to tighten it, your golden
