🛠 Fixed loose door handles and bathroom vanity
🛠 Fixed irrigation system
🛠 Pruned roses, planted new plants and mulched
🛠 Some outdoor entertainment area cleaning, including glass windows and balustrading
🛠 Prep for new turf area (photos of final product coming soon 😉)

Dec 2025 - Deception Bay - I helped an owner, who is doing most of their home renovations themselves, to hang five heavy solid wood doors. This one had its challenges, including:
🛠 The solid doors only had 10mm tolerance for adjustments
🛠 No two door frames were the same! 😯

We got there in the end by adjusting the door frames to make them fit. Happy days!

Nov 2025 - Maleny - For readers who are not familiar with Maleny, it is wet.. Which means the timber needs to be well painted to avoid water damage. I helped this home owner with timber replacement and few other water related items that came up along the way:
🛠 Replaced rotten timber decking boards, handrails, and rear fence posts
🛠 Painted to ensure the replacement timber was sealed to help prevent future water damage
🛠 Installed new water grate at bottom of entry ramp
🛠 Relaid uneven paving
🛠 Fixed a small roof leak
🛠 Cleaned gutters

Oct/ Nov2025 - Bagara – Post 2 of 2 - Helping the owner freshen and tidy up some unfinished renovation downstairs. Reuse, recycle, and coming up with novel ways to address some not so well thought tradie work (not mine!) was the name of the game:
🛠 Finished off a bedroom including gyprocking, framing a bookshelf, plastering (another new one for me!) and undercoating (ready for the owner the finish it off). I had to plane back the support posts to make the wall level! 😮
🛠 Fixed up the bedroom entry step to make it less of a trip hazard. Safety first!

The owners presented me with a lovely handmade certificate when I finished. So sweet and I will treasure it. 🥰

🛠 Moved the door entry for a soon to be ensuite from the hallway to inside the bedroom
🛠 Framed up for the shower and installed tile underlay to floors
🛠 Concrete cutting to provide access to the sewer for the ensuite upstairs and future laundry & powder room downstairs
🛠 Created an new window opening and installed the timber window frame ready for glass to be added
