Tip: Make sure you question your pest inspector when buying a home. Just finished repairing a wall that this first home buyer discovered live termites in......turns out the pest inspector forgot to do an infrared scan of the house.

What's lurking beneath your carpet? Only a problem on older homes ('60's and '70's) some carpet underlay, or old moisture barriers can contain asbestos!! It pays to get them tested at a NATA approved lab, usually under $50 a sample. Luckily these tested negative to asbestos 👍🏼👍🏼

Easter time and public holidays are a great time to get done DIY done around the home, if you are working on an older home, like most we work on in QLD, remember the dangers of asbestos!! Not just fibro sheeting but it can pop up in tile adhesive and window putty plus much more places!!
